ALLY Data Privacy
Learn all you need to know about how ALLY collects, uses and protects personal data:
The primary function of the ALLY app is to automate the capture of trips which are completed in a user’s vehicle. In order to automate this process, the ALLY app requires permission from the user to access fine grained GPS location information even when the ALLY app is not active in the phone screen. Users are prompted to grant this permission to the ALLY app during setup and before any trips can be captured.
The data captured by the app during vehicle trips is required for the purpose of recording the trip time, route, distance and related driving events. This information is securely encrypted both while being uploaded and then stored on our servers. The processing which this data undergoes while on our servers relates solely to the pre-agreed purpose, such as reporting vehicle location, driver behaviour events andor automating the logging of business related trips for taxation or re-imbursement reasons. No data captured using the ALLY app is shared with any 3rd parties.
All users can review data relating to their trips captured via the app by logging into a portal via www.ALLYDRIVE.com using provided credentials.
If any user of the ALLY app has any data privacy related queries or requests, they should contact DriverFocus by email via support@ALLYDRIVE.com
