HSA & RSA Driving For Work Seminar

The second in the series of seminars on the topic of Driving for Work Risk Management has been announced.

This event will take place on Wednesday the 20th May in The Johnstown Estate, Enfield, Co Meath with an option to attend online.

The theme is light commercial vehicles and another event focussing on grey fleet is planned for later in the year.

May’s seminar will be of particular interest and benefit to employers, self-employed, transport, safety and fleet managers who operate light commercial vehicles in all work sectors.

Delegates on the day will hear from speakers from the following organisations:

• Health and Safety Authority

• Road Safety Authority

• An Garda Síochána

You will learn about: 

  • the current harm landscape for van deaths and injuries on Ireland’s roads,

  • the impact on people and businesses

  • current and emerging regulatory landscape for vans from an EU and national perspective

  • roadworthiness requirements,

  • vehicle standards

  • vehicle safety technology,

  • driver requirements

  • enforcement profiles,

  • current road collision prevention challenges

  • company case studies exemplifying good practice. [ESB and UK examples]

There will also be time to network with other industry experts.

The event will run from 09.30 to 14.00. Light refreshments and lunch served.
